Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pavlo Hrinchenko ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the NowAfter mobile application ("NowAfter," or the "App"). By using NowAfter, you agree to the practices described here.

1. The Short Version

NowAfter has no account system and no backend server in its current version. The numbers you enter — your balance, bills, reserve, payday, and currency — are calculated and stored directly on your own device. We do not see, collect, or transmit that financial information to our own servers, because we don't have one.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you enter, stored only on your device

During setup and everyday use, NowAfter asks for things like your starting balance, currency, payday or budgeting cycle, upcoming bills, and any amount you want kept untouched. This information is stored locally on your device (using standard on-device storage) so the App can calculate how much is safe to spend today. It is not uploaded to any server we operate.

2.2 How you found us

During onboarding, we may ask how you heard about NowAfter. Your answer is sent with our anonymous usage analytics (see 2.5) and is not linked to your name or email.

2.3 Notification permission

If you choose to turn on notifications, NowAfter will ask your device's operating system for permission to send you a local, on-device reminder (for example, your spendable amount for the day). You can decline this permission, and you can change it at any time in your device's system settings. Enabling notifications does not send your financial data anywhere outside your device.

2.4 Subscriptions and purchases

If you purchase a subscription or one-time unlock, that purchase is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and by our subscription-management provider, RevenueCat, which helps us keep track of active subscriptions across platforms. We receive your subscription status (for example, "trial active" or "subscribed") but never your payment card details, which are handled solely by Apple or Google.

2.5 Anonymous usage analytics

We use PostHog to understand how NowAfter is used — for example, which onboarding steps people complete, whether they start a trial, and which features they use. Events are tied to a random identifier generated on your device, not to your name or email. We never send the amounts you enter (balance, bills, spending) to PostHog or anyone else. We do not use this data for advertising and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

2.6 Our website and waitlist

If you join the NowAfter waitlist, we store your email address only to tell you when the App launches and for nothing else; you can ask us to delete it at any time. Our website uses PostHog to count visits, including the page you came from and your approximate country.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above only to:

  • calculate and display your daily spendable amount within the App;
  • remember your settings between app launches;
  • send you local reminder notifications, if you enable them;
  • manage and verify your subscription status, if you purchase one;
  • once added, understand app usage and fix bugs via analytics/crash reporting (see 2.5).

4. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your information. We share information only with the service providers needed to run NowAfter:

WhoWhat they receiveWhy
Apple App Store / Google PlayPurchase and subscription statusProcessing payments and subscriptions
RevenueCatSubscription status (no payment details)Keeping subscription state in sync across platforms
PostHogAnonymous usage events, device and app version, approximate countryUnderstanding usage and improving the App
Cloudflare (website hosting and waitlist storage)Your email if you join the waitlist; standard connection data (such as IP address) when you visit the siteServing the website and keeping the waitlist until the launch email

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Pavlo Hrinchenko, our users, or the public.

5. Where Your Data Lives

The financial figures you enter stay on your device unless you delete the App or clear its data, at which point they are removed. Since NowAfter has no account system, there is no central database of your financial information for us to secure, breach, or lose — because we don't hold one.

6. Your Choices and Rights

  • Delete your data: uninstalling NowAfter, or clearing its data in your device settings, removes everything stored locally by the App.
  • Notifications: can be turned off at any time in your device's system settings.
  • Questions or requests: email us at hello@grnd.company and we'll help however we can, including with any data-subject request available to you under applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy

NowAfter is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has used NowAfter and provided information to us, contact us and we will address it.

8. International Data Transfers

If and when we add analytics, crash-reporting, or similar third-party services, those providers may process limited technical data on servers located outside your country, including in jurisdictions with different data-protection standards than your own. We will take reasonable steps to require such providers to protect your information consistent with this Policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as NowAfter evolves — for example, when we add analytics/crash-reporting as described in Section 2.5. We will update the "Effective date" above when we do. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
